Drawing Challenge Day 6- Favorite Book – Another Ms paint cause apparently my camera has run off with my pickles. TRAITORS!

Anyhoo, this was the hardest by far. I adore books. Lots of books. Like, lots and lots of books. I imagine I’ll also have trouble when I get to favorite movie and tv show.  I don’t really discriminate.

My favorite books (yes plural, cause I can’t pick one) are the Anita Blake Series by Laurell K. Hamilton. The Stephanie Plum Series by Janet Evanovich. And last but not least several Dean Koontz novels.

Yes, I read a lot of trash, sue me.

I picked this one, because first of all it’s a great horror/mystery novel. Secondly, it was one of the first books I ever read as a suggestion from my mother.  That is to say, this was one of the first books that I was old enough to read after she read it and liked it.  I was probably 13 or so at the time and I loved it. After I read it mom gave the book to one of her friends.  Sometime last year I found another copy at the local thrift store. Plain blue cover, with a darker blue spine.  I’d been looking for another copy (at used book stores/thrift stores) for years and was more excited than I’d been in a while when I found it. 

It’s still just as scary as it was over a decade ago. :)
